“I was never a drum and bass purist. I got into drum and bass because that was the first type of electronic music that I made and I had friends who were already involved in the scene. I already was making all kinds of music, and they suggested that I can form it to a tempo, and made it marketable. So that’s what I did. I started going to drum and bass night. I started to meet — I think I was probably 18 at the time but I started to meet drum and bass DJs. I got a little bit of club play, it kind of developed.”
